A Little About Lindy…
Lindy completed a Diploma, with distinction, in watercolour at London Art College. Lindy’s approach to art is to paint without sketching. This technique allows her to infuse her paintings with a sense of spontaneity and fluidity, enabling her to depict the essence and vitality of her subjects in a remarkably lifelike manner. Each stroke of her brush carries an innate energy that brings the animals to life on canvas, creating an engaging and captivating visual experience.
Lindy is an ardent advocate for the conservation of endangered species and a passionate supporter of animal welfare. She strongly believes in the need to protect and preserve the natural habitats of African wildlife, as well as raise awareness about the challenges they face. Through her art, Lindy endeavors to instill a sense of awe and reverence for these remarkable creatures, inviting viewers to develop a deeper appreciation for the beauty and fragility of the animal kingdom. Lindy had a solo exhibition in 2020 to raise funds for Tikki Hywood Foundation in Zimbabwe who do amazing work with lesser known and endangered species, especially Pangolins.
